Position Announcement

 

The Faculty of Social Welfare and Health Sciences, University of Haifa, is pleased to announce that it is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Occupational Therapy department for the 2010-2011 academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses develop a research program, apply for research grants, and supervise graduate students. The academic rank will be matched to candidate's qualifications.

 

Requirements:

·  Completed PhD or confirmation of PhD by September 1, 2010 in Occupational therapy or in Psychology or Psychiatry.

·  Relevant academic background in occupational therapy or in Psychology or Psychiatry focused on mental health (e.g., coursework, research)

·  Peer reviewed publications in scientific journals

·  Teaching experience, and ability to teach in Hebrew

·  Preference will be given to candidates who have completed Post-Doctoral studies abroad.

 

 

Candidates will be requested to submit the following documents:

·        An application letter, including description of research interests, future research plans and potential contribution to the Occupational Therapy Department;

·        Curriculum vitae, including list of publications, presentations, and teaching experience; CV template will be found at the faculty website: http://hw.haifa.ac.il/template.html

·        1-3 selected publications;

·        Names and e-mail addresses of three references

 

The position will be filled according to Haifa University's academic and economic considerations.
