National Inclusion Project
Let’s ALL Play Grants
Application Deadline: July 30, 2012 (inquiries) and September 15, 2012 (full proposal)
Award Ceiling: $20,000
The National Inclusion Project -- formerly the Bubel/Aiken Foundation -- offers the Let's ALL Play Grants which support recreational programs for children with special needs. The grants also support community outreach for the disabled and underserved in the community. The funding supports inclusive-specific training, the hiring of extra staff to serve more children with disabilities, scholarships to families who may be financially strapped because of disability-related costs, as well as access to a national-network of resources for questions and concerns.

The Disparities Solutions Center at Massachusetts General Hospital is now accepting applications for the 2012-2013 Disparities Leadership Program (DLP).
This year-long executive education program is designed for leaders from hospitals, health plans and other health care organizations who wish to implement practical strategies to identify and address racial and ethnic disparities in health care, particularly through quality improvement. Program Details
Participants will develop a strategic plan or advance a project to eliminate racial and ethnic disparities in health care with the guidance of DLP faculty. The DLP faculty consists of a team of leaders from The Disparities Solutions Center (DSC) at Massachusetts General Hospital as well as from health plans and health centers across the nation. These leaders are action-oriented and have practical experience implementing organizational and quality improvement strategies aimed at eliminating racial and ethnic disparities in health care. The DLP begins with an intensive two-day training program led by DLP faculty. Participants will work with faculty to achieve project goals through interactive conference calls, web seminars, and other means throughout the year. Participants will become part of a national DLP network and have extensive opportunities for collaboration and networking.

To download application materials or for more information, please visit the DSC website or contact Aswita Tan-McGrory at atanmcgrory@partners.org or (617) 643-2916.
